Many people approach the idea of SEO outsourcing but are quickly put back by the idea that someone else will be writing about their company. An interesting dilemma. For many brand managers, this idea is unheard of. They are used to tight control over their brand and want to approve every word so that it is on-point. Welcome to Web 2.0!! HA.. This is just not possible anymore. Google has changed the name of the game. Organic means just that, organic. Not built in a marketing lab. Not synthesized. Born from the Internet and supported by the masses… Or so you think.
Sure: Great content is important for making your way on the internet. But links are also required. Marketing is once again the name of the game. But now the marketing is in a new form: SEO. And for Brand Managers, this is a nightmare. They don’t want to release their well-nurtured little brands out to the organic SEO chop-shops. What will India do with this? I can’t watch!!!
Here is an option for using your own SEO writers when you outsource SEO… Take a peak. This might be a happy compromise. You have control over the words, but you outsource the SEO syndication, link-building, reporting etc… All the stuff you know you can’t do in-house anyway.. Too hard.
