Why is it exactly that I am such a big believer in the SEO reseller model? Well, I will tell you. There are several reasons for this. First, the reselling model has been well-proven by large Fortune 100 companies such as MicroSoft and EMC. If it works for them, why can’t it work for other industries. Second, I see many smaller start-ups wanting to get in on the search engine optimization action. This is great. As you know from reading my blog, I am a big fan of the SEO space. It is sexy, new, and it really works for businesses that do it right. In short, there is a market here and money to be made. And it is fun. But the cost to entry is not as low as people really think.
I think many people read about an SEO reseller program and think “I can just do this myself.” That’s a big mistake. Search engine optimization is fiercely competitive, for any term that matters. And this makes things complicated. It means that buying an “SEO for dummy’s” book at the local mall is not exactly going to prep you for the competition you will be up against. Not hardly. This is why you join an SEO reseller company.
Partner up with a company that specializes in reselling SEO and you will have a competitive advantage against those who are trying to do this on their own. Sure, you will have a disadvantage against companies that are using that same SEO reseller provider – but if you find a smaller one this is less of an issue. Most importantly, you want to find a partner company where you can have comfort outsourcing your SEO services. They need to be professional and know what they are doing. This should show in their website and the accessibility – as well in their own search engine optimization results. All of which are easy for you to ascertain with a few hours of due-diligence.
